Missing Wheaton Woman Sought By Family, Police

Lynette John was last seen Sunday in the Olney area, police say. If you've seen her, police want a call.

WHEATON, MD — Montgomery County law enforcement is asking the public's help in finding a missing woman. Lynette John, 38, has been missing since Oct. 14, according to police.

John, of Glenallan Avenue, was last seen Sunday in the Olney area. Her family hasn't been able to contact her and they're concerned for her physical and emotional welfare.

She's black, 5-foot-2, weighs 168 pounds, has brown eyes and short black hair.

Anybody with information about her or her whereabouts is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000, which is open 24 hours a day. Callers can remain anonymous.
