Montgomery Man Dies In Wheaton Motorcycle Crash: Police
A man who died in a motorcycle crash in Wheaton Sunday afternoon had lost control of his bike, according to authorities.
WHEATON, MD — Authorities say a man is dead after being ejected from his motorcycle in Wheaton Sunday afternoon.
Montgomery County police identified the driver who died as Luis Edmundo Villeda, 51, of Silver Spring.
The crash happened shortly before 3:45 p.m. on Randolph Road and Lindell Street. An investigation found that Villeda was traveling westbound on Randolph Road when he was ejected from his 2018 KTM Duke 390 motorcycle. Authorities said they pronounced Villeda dead at the scene.

The circumstances surrounding what caused the Silver Spring man to lose control while on his bike remains under investigation.
