Now and Then: Television Looks at 9/11 from Every Angle

Hours of coverage planned for the 10th Anniversary of 9/11 Terrorist Attacks.

As the 10th Anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks approaches,  televsion networks will begin to air retrospectives, interviews, investigative reports and other specials about the events themselves, and their continued effects on the nation.

We've assembled a brief guide to programs airing this week:

  • September 7: CNN, CNBC and PBS all have 9/11-related programs scheduled.
  • September 8: CNN will profile female rescue workers at the World Trade Center
  • September 9: The History Channel, CNN, Fox News Channel and NBC plan to air 9/11-related programming.

Additionally, more than 3,000 hours of coverage from all around the world that originally aired on 9/11 and the week after are stored at The 9/11 Television News Archive.
