Police Blotter: Aug. 29-Sept. 6
An attempted armed robbery, commercial burglary and residential burglary all occurred.

Yesterday, Montgomery County Police released the latest crime statistics for the Fourth District, from Aug. 29 through Sept. 6.
Robbery:
- On Sept. 2 at 12:05 p.m., a bank robbery occurred at the BB&T branch located at 11501 Georgia Ave. The suspect displayed a weapon and took property.
Suspect: black male, 6’-6’2”, wearing a beige hat and a black jacket with red and black sleeves, and beige pants.

- An aggravated assault occurred on Sept. 3 at 11:45 a.m., in the 11700 block of Kingtree Street, Silver Spring. This a domestic-related incident.
- On Sept. 2, between 10:05 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., a residential burglary occurred in the 600 block of Sisson Street. There were no signs of forced entry and property was taken.
- A residential burglary occurred on Aug. 31 between 5:40 p.m. and 8:40 p.m. in the 2700 block of Munson Street, Silver Spring. There were no signs of forced entry and property was taken.
- On Aug. 31 at 1:59 a.m., a residential burglary occurred in the 2700 block of Atlanta Drive, Silver Spring. There was forced entry, but no property taken.
