Police Blotter: Sept. 27 to Oct. 5
Three commercial burglaries in the downtown area, one suspect arrested.

This morning,ย Montgomery County Policeย released a summary of major crimes for the week of September 27th to October 5th. In addition to crimes listed here, an aggravated assault was recorded for the Lincoln 1 sector.
Robbery
- On Thursday, Sept. 30 at 10:30 p.m., a suspect armed with a knife obtained property on the 12300 block of Georgia Avenue. ย Suspect: black female, age 37, 5'1" & 150 lbs.ย
Residential Burglary

- On Sept. 30th, a burglary occurred in the 2000 block of Glenallan Avenue, between 7:45 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. There was no forced entry, but property was taken.
- Between 4:00 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. on Oct. 1st, property was taken on the 11800 block of Huggins Drive. There was no forced entry.
Commercial Burglaries
- There was a burglary by forced entry at Galvez Hair Salon, 11269 Triangle Lane at 3:31 a.m. on Sept. 29. A 27-year old male from Silver Spring was arrested.
- Over the same night, property was taken from OMI Driving School at 11222 Grandview Avenue, also by forced entry. The suspect in the driving school case is not the same as the hair salon.
- Between 12:25 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Oct. 1st, property was taken from an office suite at 10406 Amherst Avenue. Property was not taken by forced entry in this case
