Suspected Thieves Used Stolen Credit Cards In Wheaton: Police

Montgomery County Police need the public's help finding a man and a woman accused of using stolen credit cards in the Wheaton area.

WHEATON, MD — A man and a woman accused of using stolen credit cards in the Wheaton area were captured in surveillance photographs. Authorities hope the public can help identify the suspects.

Montgomery County Police said the victim's wallet was stolen while he was working in the 11000 block of Veirs Mill Rd. on Jan. 11. His credit cards were later used at several grocery stores in the Wheaton area.

The adult male and female suspects are seen walking with a child in a surveillance photograph. Police said they were seen driving a Dodge Caravan with an unknown Virginia registration plate.

Authorities ask that anyone with information about these suspects or this crime call the investigations unit at 240-773-5522. Anonymous tipsters can call the county's Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). A cash reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
