University Boulevard from Arcola to Colesville to Be Resurfaced

Resurfacing project will be done in Fall 2011.

The road that one reader called "a rollercoaster", University Blvd., will begin a several month project to resurface the pavement and rebuild sidewalks and ramps according to ADA standards.

The State Highway Administration's project, from Arcola Avenue to Colesville Road, will start its first stage of temporary patching to smooth out the most damaged areas of the road during the winter.

After the worst of the winter weather has passed, SHA will continue to resurface the road completely, as well clean inlets and pipes and paint new pavement markings.
