Wheaton Crime: Carjacking and an Assault

The Montgomery County Police have released the latest crime statistics for the Fourth District, from July 23-31. This list is not comprehensive, but rather selects incidents that occurred in or very near Wheaton.
- A carjacking occurred at Indigo Drive and Ferrar Drive, Wheaton on July 30 around 2:02 a.m.
Suspects: Hispanic male, 20-25 yrs. old, 5’5”-5’6”/140-145 lbs. black male, 17-20 yrs. old, 6’-6’2”/160-165 lbs.

- An aggravated assault occurred in the 550 block Randolph Road, on July 31 at 12:24 a.m. A 23-year-old man from Hyattsville was arrested.
