Wheaton Mall Security Guard Ran Prostitution Business

Arrested in Virginia on federal charge.

The Associated Press is reporting that Cooper Kweme, a mall security officer in Wheaton, arrested last week for transporting a minor, a 16-year-old, to engage in prostitution, acknowledged that he used his job as a mall security officer to recruit young women to his prostitution business.

The charging documents do not specify whether or not Kweme was sucessful in recruiting women from the mall, but shows he had been running a prostitution ring since October of 2010. Kweme met the 16-year-old through a online social network called "Tapped".

The federal charges were filed in Virginia because the minor involved in the original charges lived in Arlington.
