Wheaton, Montgomery Village Residents Charged in First Homicide of 2010

Police reported on April 16 that they had arrested two men, Timothy D. Jackson, 21 and David James Wilson, 20, in connection with the Jan. 12, 2010 murder of Alex Nando Roman in Brookeville. 

Montgomery County Police say Jackson is from the 19800 block of Wheelright Drive—next to Watkins Mill High School just outside Montgomery Village—while online court records say he is from the 11100 block of Georgia Ave. in Wheaton.

Police say Wilson is from an unknown address, while online court records say he is from the 19400 block of Thomas Farm Road, next to Whetstone Elementary School in the Maryland Place community of Montgomery Village.

They are being held without bond.

New information on this case was received in the past several weeks, according to a police press release, include a motive of theft for the murder and the information that Wilson, Roman, and Jackson met up in the Montgomery Village area and then drove to the 4900 block of Brookeville Road to smoke marijuana, before Wilson and Jackson allegedly shot Roman.
