The World of Montgomery is a free annual public event with fun and entertainment for everyone. The event seeks to promote multicultural awareness in the county. The festival will feature exhibits focusing on four countries with some of the largest immigrant populations in Montgomery County: China, El Salvador, Ethiopia, and India. Events and attractions include performances of traditional dance and music, storytelling, a craft market, food vendors, and interactive projects for children to partake in.
This will be the first time that Westfield Wheaton will host the festival. Festival goers will also be able to win a $200 Westfield Gift Card by participating in the Westfield Scavenger Hunt game located within the official World of Montgomery Passport which will be distributed at the event.
