• Another Mass. town drops Flock cameras over privacy concerns (boston25news.com) — Abington has joined Wilmington, Ayer, Southbridge and other Massachusetts communities in ending its contract with Flock license-plate-reading cameras after residents raised privacy concerns. Local police say the cameras helped investigations but decided the privacy tradeoffs were too great, reflecting a broader statewide pullback from this technology.
