3 MA Beach Towns Among 14 Best On The East Coast: Condé Nast

Massachusetts is well-represented on a list of the top beach towns stretching from Maine to Florida.

MASSACHUSETTS — Three Massachusetts places are among The 14 Best Beach Towns on the East Coast, according to a new list from Condé Nast Traveler.

Here are those in the Bay State that made Condé Nast Traveler's list:

  • Rockport: This North Shore town has a "can't miss natural gem in Halibut Point State Park" along with plenty of historical sites, according to the list.
  • Oak Bluffs: This little Martha's Vineyard town has "colorful gingerbread houses...straight out of a storybook," Condé Nast Traveler wrote.
  • Cape Cod: The popular peninsula "is a vacation hotspot for good reason" and has "exciting activities and small town summer charm."

The luxury lifestyle and travel magazine said the beach towns along a stretch of coastline from Maine to Florida are summer hotspots for fun and entertainment, whether vacationers are seeking places teeming with crowds or a quieter, small-town atmosphere.
