MASSACHUSETTS — Three Massachusetts pizzerias have landed on 50 Top Pizza’s 2026 ranking of the best pizza restaurants in the U.S.
Posto in Somerville ranked No. 35, Si Cara in Cambridge ranked No. 47 and Quattro in Boston ranked No. 49 on the 50 Top Pizza USA 2026 list, according to the ranking released by the international pizza guide.
The guide ranks pizzerias through anonymous inspections and in-person visits by judges. The organization, which launched in 2017, has become one of the most closely watched pizza rankings in the culinary world.
Posto, located at 400 Assembly Row in Somerville, was praised by 50 Top Pizza for its Neapolitan-style pizza, Italian ingredients and airy dining room centered around a visible pizza oven. The guide described the pizza as soft and well-cooked, with a slightly pronounced crust.
Si Cara at 425 Mass. Ave in Cambridge was recognized for its contemporary Neapolitan-style pizza, including a pronounced “canotto” crust. The guide noted the restaurant’s seasonal approach, classic offerings such as margherita and dining-room atmosphere.
Quattro, located in Boston’s North End, was cited for its Naples-inspired pizza and broader Italian menu. The restaurant, part of the DePasquale Ventures group, serves options including Margherita with buffalo mozzarella, Quattro Formaggi, Mortadella and Pistachio, Soppressata and Sausage & Rabe, according to 50 Top Pizza.
"The North End has always been the soul of Italian food in Boston, and to have Quattro recognized on a national stage like this means everything to us. This honor is a testament to the authenticity and passion that has defined this restaurant since day one,” said Frank DePasquale, founder of DePasquale Ventures.
Una Pizza Napoletana in New York ranked No. 1 on the 2026 U.S. list, according to 50 Top Pizza.
