$1 Oyster Deal Returns To MA Eatery This Summer

BOSTON, MA — A South End restaurant is bringing back a weekly summer raw bar deal built around $1 oysters.

Bar Mezzana, at 360 Harrison Ave., is offering Raw Bar Mezzana from 5 to 7 p.m. every Wednesday this summer, with $1 oysters served until sellout. The deal is available at the bar, lounge and patio.

The Wednesday special features Edgewater oysters for $1 each, plus a $32 crudo tasting with the chef’s selection of three crudos, according to the announcement. Crudo is raw fish typically dressed with olive oil, salt and citrus or vinegar.

Bar Mezzana is a coastal Italian restaurant in Boston’s South End, with a menu centered on crudos, house-made pastas, shareable dishes, wines and aperitifs. The restaurant’s dinner hours run from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
