5 Food Deals To Try This Week In MA: Cheap Eats

Bay State diners can save on pizza, burgers, prime rib and more across the state this week.

This week, Massachusetts diners can save on pizza, burgers, prime rib and more across the state.

The deals include a Sunday pizza-and-wine pairing in South Boston, two CabbyShack promotions in Plymouth and a $10 burger-and-beer special at PKL. Nantucket Restaurant Week also begins Monday, bringing special menus and food events to the island.

Sunday: Pizza and Wine at Petula's

Petula's, located at 81 L St. in South Boston, offers a pizza-and-wine deal every Sunday.

Diners can choose a pizza and a bottle of wine for $55, the restaurant says.

Petula's serves brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., a midday menu from 3 to 5 p.m. and dinner from 5 to 10 p.m. on Sundays.

Monday: Buy-One-Get-One Pizza in Plymouth

CabbyShack will offer its buy-one-get-one pizza promotion Monday.

The deal applies to specialty pizzas and build-your-own pies for dine-in or takeout, according to CabbyShack's event listing.

CabbyShack is located at 30 Town Wharf in Plymouth and is open daily from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.

Tuesday: $10 Burger and Beer in Boston

PKL X Pig Beach BBQ will serve a smash burger with a beer for $10 from 4 to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29.

The special is available at the pickleball and dining venue at 64C St. in South Boston, PKL says.

Wednesday: $21.99 Prime Rib in Plymouth

CabbyShack's Wednesday Prime Rib Night returns Sept. 30.

A 14-ounce prime rib costs $21.99, with each additional ounce available for $2, according to the restaurant. The special runs from 4 p.m. to midnight.

All Week: Nantucket Restaurant Week

Nantucket Restaurant Week will run from Monday, Sept. 28 through Sunday, Oct. 4.

Restaurants across the island will offer special menus and dining experiences during the seven-day event, according to the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce. Prices and menus vary by participating restaurant.

The week will also include Savor the Island from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1 at Café 22, 22 Federal St. A Food Truck Festival will run from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4 at Children's Beach, 15 Harbor View Way. The food truck event has a rain date of Oct. 11.
