35-Year-Old Woman Killed In Crash In Marlborough

State Police responded to the scene on I-95 North’s 62.4-mile marker at approximately 9:50 a.m. on Saturday. The driver of the vehicle involved in the single-car accident, Louridie Jean, died from her injuries after being transported to the hospital. The cause of the cash remains unknown.

Man Charged In Assault At Tewksbury State Hospital, Police Say

Police responded to the report of an unwanted man on the property of Tewksbury State Hospital shortly after 10 a.m. on Sunday. Eduardo Cruceta was reportedly visiting a family member who was a patient at the hospital. When the family member experienced a medical episode, police said Cruceta began acting erratically and was threatening to kill employees.

After Decades-Run On Cape, Namesake Chip Factory Is Gone For Good

The Cape Cod Chips factory at 100 Breeds Hill Road in Hyannis officially closed all operations at the beginning of April. Nearly 50 employees have lost their jobs as a result of the closure, which was executed by Campbell’s Co. Campbell’s bought the company back in 2018. The factory has been a staple in the village since 1980 and attracts more than 250,000 visitors annually.

Boston House Owned By John Hancock On The Block For Nearly $5M

The three-story building at 10 Marshall St. is on the National Registry of Historic Places and is reportedly the site where Ebenezer Hancock, Deputy Paymaster of the Continental Army and John Hancock’s younger brother, stored 2 million silver crowns, loaned by the French Government, prior to disbursement to the troops, according to the listing. John Hancock was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States.
