Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce Host Live Boston Podcast On NBA Opening Night: MA Weekly Events

MASSACHUSETTS — Are you saving your nights outside of the house for the weekend? In Massachusetts, that can often mean missing out on a bevy of great concerts, art exhibits and other events across the state.

In Patch's latest weekly column, we focus on the events happening throughout the week in the Boston area and beyond.

Tuesday is the opening night for the NBA and the Celtics will host the New York Knicks at TD Garden. Before tipoff, two Boston legends, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, will host a live episode of their podcast in Boston at Big Night Live.

Also this week, the San Diego Museum of Art is bringing a traveling show of works from Georgia O'Keeffe and Henry Moore to Boston's Museum of Fine Arts. Included in the show are 60 works from O'Keefe and 90 works from Moore.

The show runs through Jan. 20, 2025 and is on display now.
