Plenty of Massachusetts restaurants will be open for diners this New Year's Day and Eve. Here are some places to consider.

MASSACHUSETTS — With Christmas fast approaching, it's high time to start planning your reservations for another holiday, too.

New Year's Eve and New Year's Day also fall in the middle of the week this year, but don't get it confused, plenty of Massachusetts bars and restaurants will be open for the holidays.

Kings Dining & Entertainment New Year's Eve Celebrations

Kings Dining & Entertainment will host two celebrations for all ages at all Kings locations. They include:

  • Noon Year’s Eve Party: For $35 per person, Kings will have a kid-friendly buffet, family photos, cookie decorating, a coloring station and a make-your-own party favor station. The celebration culminates in a balloon drop and sparkling cider toast. A wristband, included with the $35 ticket, grants access to all activities, though bowling is sold separately on a first-come, first-serve basis.   • Strike Midnight NYE Party: For $60 per person, guests can enjoy two hours of bowling, including shoe rental, and select four food items along with soft drinks. Boston Harbor Hotel

The Boston Harbor Hotel has multiple offerings, which include:

Karma Asian Fusion

For New Year's Eve, Karma Burlington will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., with a special DJ appearance from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m.

Karma Winchester will be open from 11:30 a.m. to midnight, celebrating the New Year all until the last minute. The last seating will be at 11 p.m., and passed appetizers and drinks will be available from then until midnight.

Both locations will also be offering a New Year's beverage, a twist on the French 75. The Midnight 75 cocktail is a slightly floral, citrusy take that "enhances the drink’s refreshing nature," officials said.

Rochambeau

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Rochambeau’s Le Réveillon.

"This elegant soirée spans two floors, featuring live jazz, vibrant energy, and the best of French hospitality," officials said.

"Enjoy the Patricia Scott Band in the upstairs Brasserie or Astha Zyla’s solo performance at the Street Bar. Access the exclusive Parlor Lounge, offering card games in the Steak Room with fun prizes and a sophisticated atmosphere."

Tickets are $125 per person and include access to all live entertainment, the Parlor Lounge, a welcome cocktail and a champagne toast at midnight. Additionally, guests can enhance the evening with a multi-course prix-fixe menu inspired by French culinary traditions for an additional $100 per person (reservations required). Bar Enza

Begin with a wagyu carpaccio with black truffle-artichoke vinaigrette or grilled spanish octopus with sweet baby peppers. Then continue with pasta options, including chestnut and porcini agnolotti with brown butter and black truffles or spaghetti with spicy squid and lemon.

For the main course, choose from dishes such as broiled branzino with delicata squash or a 14 oz. New York strip with potato panzerotti. Conclude the evening with assorted biscotti and chocolate truffles for a sweet finish.
