DUXBURY, MA — Authorities have announced charges against a Duxbury mother following the deaths of her two children and the injury to a toddler after a domestic incident Tuesday night.

Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz will charge Lindsay Clancy, 32, with two counts of homicide, three counts of strangulation and assault and battery with a deadly weapon for the deaths of Cora Clancy, 5, and Dawson Clancy, 3, and the injury of their 8-month-old sibling. Clancy is under police custody, Cruz said.

The double-homicide happened Tuesday night at a home along Summer Street in Duxbury. Police went to the home near 6 p.m. after Clancy's husband called 911 to report that his wife had attempted suicide by jumping out a window at their home.
