MASSACHUSETTS — This Halloween in Massachusetts, it'll be partly ominous with a chance of soggy chocolate.

The Halloween 2022 forecast for the state is looking wet for Monday night, when scores of kids — and probably some adults — will head out to collect candy. It won't be a full soaking, but probably just enough to make for slippery conditions, and the possibility of needing a rain jacket over your costume.

Worcester area

Halloween: Partly sunny, with a high near 64. Southwest wind 5 to 9 mph.

Halloween Night: A chance of showers, mainly after 1am. Patchy fog after 5am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 52. Southwest wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Cape Cod

Halloween: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 65. South wind 3 to 8 mph.

Halloween Night: Showers likely, mainly after 5am. Cloudy, with a low around 55. South wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
