Winners will be selected by a panel comprised of MassDOT employees who will choose two school classroom winners located within each of the six Highway Division districts. Winning submissions will be evaluated based on two grade-level categories: Kindergarten through fourth grade, and fifth through eighth grade.
Winning names will be announced on Dec. 20. Winners will be invited to participate in a scheduled snowplow unveiling event, officials said.
