MA Likely To See Above-Average Temperatures In Long-Range Outlook: NWS
A National Weather Service outlook predicts that temperatures will be above normal.

MASSACHUSETTS — The warm winter weather is expected to continue with above-average temperatures predicted for the near future. The National Weather Service's 6-to-10-day outlook shows a 60 to 70 percent chance that temperatures will be above normal from Feb. 14 to 18.
There's also a 33 to 40 percent chance that precipitation will be higher than normal during that time period.
National Weather Service data shows the average temperature for Boston in February is 31.8 degrees. The Worcester area has an average temperature of 27 degrees in February.

The bitterly cold temperatures last weekend look like they will be long forgotten. The weather is expected to be balmy on Friday, mostly sunny with a high of 58 for Boston and 56 for Worcester.
Temperatures will dip a bit over the weekend with highs for Boston of 40 degrees Saturday and 46 on Sunday. Worcester will have highs of 38 on Saturday and 44 on Sunday.

Next week could get off to a wet start with a 40 percent chance of rain Monday and Wednesday.
Warmer temperatures are forecast for almost the entire East Coast from Feb. 14 to 18. The West Coast is likely to see below-average temperatures.
