MASSACHUSETTS — Public school teachers in Massachusetts can make vastly different salaries, depending on which school district they work for, though they tend to be on the high end.

While two Massachusetts districts rank in the top 50 nationwide for teachers, with Dover-Sherborn paying them in excess of $103,000 each year on average, the top 25 school districts in Massachusetts all pay their teachers average annual salaries well north of $75,000, according to Niche.

The best district for teachers in the country is Glenbard High School District 225 in Illinois, Niche reported. That district pays its teachers an average of $103,465 per year.
