MA Weather: High Winds Could Knock Down Power Lines, Trees
With wind gusts up to 60 mph, scattered power outages are expected.

A high wind watch is in effect Saturday, with the potential for gusts to knock down trees and power lines in several Massachusetts counties, including Middlesex, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Bristol and Plymouth.
The watch will be brief, from Saturday afternoon through the evening, but is expected to bring storm-force gusts up to 60 mph. Scattered power outages are expected.

Friday: Showers before 2 p.m. High near 69. Southwest wind 13 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Friday night: A chance of rain and thunderstorms after 7 p.m. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Low around 59. Wind gusts as high as 26 mph. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Saturday: Rain and possible thunderstorm before 9 a.m. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. High near 62. South wind 8 to 16 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Wind gusts as high as 60 mph. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Saturday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 39. Wind gusts as high as 50 mph.
Sunday: Sunny with a high near 51.
Sunday night: Mostly clear with a low around 40.
