MA Woman Caught Abandoning Puppy In Alley: Police
Police are attempting to identify a woman accused of abandoning a puppy near an animal rescue facility.
GROVELAND, MA — A woman is accused of abandoning an Australian shepherd puppy near an animal rescue facility in Groveland, according to police. The Groveland Police Department is attempting to identify the woman, whose image was captured on surveillance footage.
Groveland police responded to the call at 3 p.m. Monday reporting an abandoned puppy discovered at Sweet Paws Rescue at 310 Main St.
Police determined that an Australian shepherd puppy was abandoned in an alleyway near Sweet Paws Rescue. Officers said the suspect is a blonde female driving a black Mazda SUV and was last seen wearing a black Maine School of Law sweatshirt.

The woman is sought on suspicion of animal cruelty. The dog was not injured.
