MASSACHUSETTS — The forecast for Memorial Day weekend is shaping up nicely. Expect plenty of sun and warm temperatures for the unofficial start to summer with weather perfect for spending time outdoors.

Highs are expected to be in the 70s Saturday then reaching the mid-80s Sunday in much of the state. Things cool off a bit on Memorial Day with highs returning to the 70s.

If you're out and about grilling, marching, or heading to the beach, remember to drink plenty of water and apply sunscreen.
