Raccoon Attacked Mass. Woman While She Put Up Xmas Lights: Report

LANCASTER, MA — A Massachusetts woman says a raccoon attacked her while she was outside putting up Christmas lights, according to WCVB.
The news station reports that the Lancaster woman, 70, struggled with the animal for about five minutes until she was able to put it in a head lock and try to squish it. Both of her arms are scratched, bruised, and bitten, WCVB said.
The woman is getting a series of rabies shots, WCVB reported. Lancaster Police searched for the animal but did not find it.
