Relief In Forecast For MA, Sunny Skies Predicted: NWS

MASSACHUSETTS — A welcome sight in the forecast for Massachusetts is coming up: a stretch of dry weather. Recent storms have dumped several inches of rain and caused flooding in parts of Massachusetts, representing just a sliver of the wet weather that has dominated the season.

The National Weather Service Boston recently noted in a tweet that a very wet July has resulted in most rivers and streams across the region running above the 90th percentile, meaning plenty of swollen bodies of water.

Fortunately, the state will get a reprieve in the coming days, as mostly sunny weather is anticipated through the middle of next week.
