TEMPLETON, MA — Multiple buildings of a Massachusetts horse farm were destroyed in a massive six-alarm fire Thursday night, according to fire officials and the farm's Facebook page.
The fire was reported around 9 p.m. at Liberty-Belle Stables in Templeton, from where all horses were removed safely from the barn, according to the Gardner Fire Department, which was one of the many mutual aid departments assisting.
The barn was completely swallowed by flames, which also extended to the house.
