Saw Strange Lights In Sky Over MA? Here's What It Was
The line of lights appeared over Massachusetts Monday evening, surprising many local residents.
MASSACHUSETTS — Was it yet another unidentified flying object being obliterated by the Air Force? Or maybe this time the space invaders really were arriving.
If you saw a string of strange lights in the sky above Massachusetts Monday night, it was just a relatively routine satellite launch.
The company SpaceX launched Starlink satellites on Monday night. Each light in the string seen in the night sky was an individual satellite. It's the first Starlink deployment for the company since 2019.

The satellite deployment followed the launch of a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket early Sunday morning from Cape Canaveral in Florida. The mission will release a total of 55 Starlink satellites, according to the company.
If you missed Monday's light show, there's another Starlink deployment scheduled for Tuesday night.

Witnessed a Starlink satellite over New Hampshire a few minutes ago. Had no idea what the hell it was until people on Twitter answered. pic.twitter.com/Vx5naEjEdx
