Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Mr. Francis is passionate about getting students to think critically. While he has a reputation of being a hard teacher, students leave his class with skills and knowledge that will help them for the rest of their lives. Students don't just learn dates and events. They learn about the world and how they can become players in the global game of life. My son still uses information that he learned in Mr. Francis's class. When he watches the news, he often asks what Mr. Francis would think of what is going on.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

While he seems like a tough teacher, he really cares about his students and the school. He seems genuinely interested in students' success.
