Teen's Body Recovered Underwater In MA Pond

HAVERHILL, MA — An 18-year-old boy is dead after drowning in Plug Pond in Haverhill according to the Haverhill Police Department.
Police were called just after 1:30 p.m., when the boy went into the water and became unaccounted for.
The Haverhill Police Department, Haverhill Fire Department, Haverhill Harbor Master, State Police, and Beverly Dive Teams searched the pond and the boy's body was recovered underwater around 30 feet from the shoreline at 3:07 p.m., police said.
