White Christmas Dreams May Come True With Snow On Way Across MA: See Latest Forecast
A period of snowfall could be just enough to cover the ground with a blanket of white for Christmas morning.

MASSACHUSETTS — Those holding out hope for a white Christmas across Massachusetts may just get their wish with a period of light snow on Tuesday that is likely to stick around until at least dawn on the big day.
Friday's wild warmup, wind and rain washed away the snow on the ground for much of the state. But there is one last chance for up to two inches of snow to fall on Tuesday, with the National Weather Service calling for snow showers to begin late in the morning and last into the evening.
While it will not be a big storm that significantly hinders travel, the forecast is for a coating to an inch in Greater Boston, the South Shore and the Islands, and two inches or a bit more in the higher elevations of Worcester County.
