A List of Open Town Positions

 The annual Acton Town Elections are March 29, and the deadline for handing in nomination papers to the Board of Registrars at the Town Clerks office is February 8^th.

Candidates must collect 50 signatures from registered Acton voters to be qualified to run. Candidates are also require by the state to frequently file their campaign finances with the Town Clerk

 Here is a list of elected Town positions that expire as of April 2011:

1). Selectmen – 3 year term – 2 open positions.

2). School Committee – 3 year term – 2 open positions and a 1 year term (1 open position).

3). Trustees of the Acton Memorial Library – 3 year term – 1 open position.

4). Water District Commissioner – 3 year term – 1 open position.

5). Water District Clerk – 3 year term – 1 open position.
