• Alleged drunk driver crashes car into telephone pole (sentinelandenterprise.com) — A Lowell man faces OUI and negligent driving charges after allegedly crashing his truck into a telephone pole in Groton, saying he was driving home from a friend's house in Acton when he swerved to avoid an animal. Groton police also reported their weekly call volume, including medical calls, suspicious activity reports, and several arrests.
