ACTON, MA — Got a leftover jack-o'-lantern sitting on your porch? Acton has a smashing solution!
The Town of Acton is inviting residents to its annual Pumpkin Smash on Saturday, Nov. 7.
The event encourages families to bring their unwanted pumpkins to the Department of Public Works, where they will be composted and turned into nutrient-rich soil instead of ending up in the trash.
