Announcement: Paving Roads Tomorrow

Tomorrow, May 24, the milling and paving of the following streets will begin:

• Main St. (Newtown Rd. to Brook Street.).
• Pope Rd. (Stoneymeade Way to Proctor Street).
• Strawberry Hill Rd. (Route 2A to Ladyslipper Lane).
• Strawberry Hill Rd. (Pope Rd. to Concord line).

Simon Hapgood Lane will just be paved.

According to the Highway Department, congestion on Main Street should be expected.

Depending on the weather, the project will be completed in approximately 3 weeks. Police will be on scene to direct traffic.

Harris Street, North Street, South Street, Cross Street, and Spring Hill Road are said to be paved after July 1.
