Dennis Bruce Selected to Serve on Acton Public School Committee

Last night, the Board of Selectmen and the Acton Public School Committee came together to vote for a candidate to fill in the recentl vacant seat on the Acton Public School Committee - replacing Terry Lindgren. They unanimously voted for Dennis Bruce over Adria Cohen to serve on the committee.

NOTE: Selectmen John Sonner and David Clough excluded themselves from the vote because of a potential conflict of interest (both have wives who work for the school system - left room during vote).

“It is an honor I think to serve the town and I think what the School Committee does and what the Selectmen do by giving their time and their energy to the town moving forward and making it better is something I want to do, something I want to participate in,” said Bruce.
