MinuteVan Seeks Help From Acton-Boxborough Schools for Tagline

The MinuteVan transportation service of Acton is holding a contest for students to come up with a catchy tagline for their service.

The MinuteVan transportation operation of Acton is looking for a catchy tagline for their service. The group is reaching out to the Acton-Boxborough School system to come up with a tagline for their service and the winner of the contest will receive a 10-ride pass for the and will see their tagline on the MinuteVan website.

Contest entry forms are to be submitted by Friday, May 27, by 5 p.m. The winners will be selected and contacted on June 15th.

According to the MinuteVan website, “we have a great logo to help people identify the service when they see it, but we don’t have a tagline. A tagline is a way of helping people recognize and remember a product or service.”

As of right now, the MinuteVan program has two shuttles that run between the West Acton Fire Station parking lot and the South Acton MBTA Train Station. To purchase an annual pass is $250 for Acton residents and $500 for non-residents – also, day passes are available for $3 and monthly passes are $50.

Their fairly new offers riders to book door-to-door trips online and the service provides transportation anywhere in Acton and selected locations just outside of town.

All MinuteVan projects are funded by the Boston Metropolitan Planning Organization, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation and the Town of Acton.
