UPDATE: John Murray on Paid Administrative Leave

On Friday, July, 20 Assistant Town Manager, John Murray, was sent on .

"He is on a paid administrative leave – so that's the process right now," said Marianne Fleckner, Acton's Human Resource Director. "Just to be fair with John and the Town, no further information is available at this time."

Fleckner said the paid administrative leave is a personnel issue and that is why no further information is available.

If Murray is to come back as Assistant Town Manager all depends on the next process. Fleckner was not able to explain what the next process is regarding the procedure.

"It really depends on the fair communication and the fair process, so I can't go into further detail of what that process would be," said Fleckner.

John Murray worked with the Town of Acton for 22-years and was recently noted for his work with pushing forward the new and the .
