ANDOVER, MA – A Sturbridge man was killed when his car went off the road on I-93 in Andover early Monday morning, state police said. The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. on the northbound side of the highway near I-495.Police said a 2008 GMC Sierra drove off the road, rolled over and came to rest in the woods. The driver, identified as 48-year-old Derek Frechette, was pulled from the car by the Andover Fire Department and taken to Lawrence General Hospital. He was later pronounced dead.
