13-Year-Old Boy Charged With Making a Bomb Threat

A13-year-old boy was charged with making a bomb threat after he called the Doherty Middle School around 6:30 Wednesday morning, according to Andover Police.

The threat was apparently traced to a cellphone, and sometime after that an arrest was made.

Police have not identified the boy because he is a juvenile.

Authorities swept the building, and deemed it safe.

Classes were held.
