4th of July Events in Andover

It has become an annual family tradition for many residents to attend the 4th of July events in Andover MA.  There's fun for everyone, including fireworks, music, kids activities, food, a parade and more.  

The 4th of July festivities kick off with a grand fireworks display on the evening of July 3rd.  Wake up the next morning to a delicious pancake breakfast served by the Andover Firefighters Relief Association.  Then join in or relax and watch while kids and adults participate in the Horribles parade, a century-old town tradition. They march with their decorated bikes, wagons, and scooters in festive July 4th decorations while wearing patriotic-colored shirts and shoes, garland decorations, costumes and more.  After, enjoy food, games, and music by the Middlesex Concert Band.

Thursday, July 3rd

Fireworks at Andover High School -Shawsheen Street (at dusk)
Don't forget to bring chairs, blankets, snacks, drinks, and bug spray!
(Rain date: Saturday, July 5th, same location and time)

Friday, July 4th

Family Fun in The Park at the intersection of Bartlet and Chestnut Streets
The fun includes kids activities, food and entertainment until noon.

8:00-11:00 am - Pancake Breakfast - hosted by the Andover Firefighters Relief Association
8:00-10:00 am - Jazz Band
9:00 am - Horribles Parade line-up in front of Doherty Middle School on Bartlet St.
9:30 am - Horribles Parade
10:00-11:30 am - Games in The Park
10:30-12:00 pm - Middlesex Concert Band
