FUN TO RUN RACE SERIES
Grades Pre-K-5
Join Andover Recreation on Sundays for the Fun to Run Race Series! No running experience required. This program introduces participants to running races in a fun and encouraging environment. Each week a race will take place, with a cross country race set up in mind. Once each race is completed, participants will be awarded with a participation certificate as well as “points”. Once the entire series has ended, the top boy and girl with the most points in their respective age division will be presented with a trophy and will be highlighted by local media.
Length of race is as follows:
Grade Pre-K: 50 yard dash
Grades K-1: ¼ mile race
Grades 2-3: ½ mile race
Grades 4-5: 1 mile race
Participants may register for all 4 races or for individual races. Register for three or more races to receive a race bag and t-shirt.
