Align Credit Union Supports the Boys and Girls Club
Matches Donations on #GivingTuesday up to $1,500 in total donations.
Align Credit Union was proud to have supported the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell during this year’s #GivingTuesday. #GivingTuesday is an annual event where businesses, organizations, charities, families and students around the world come together to give thanks by giving back. Align pledged to match up to $1,500 in total donations made to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Haverhill, Greater Lowell and MetroWest through each Club’s website on December 1st. Donations made to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell will be used to purchase vans, which will enable the Club to offer more educational, recreational and cultural trips to even more young people in Lowell.
“Align’s leadership will provide our Club members with access to opportunities they wouldn’t have otherwise such as college visits, career exploration, robotics programs, athletic leagues and other chances to broaden their horizons,” said Joe Hungler, Executive Director, Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell. “Many people gave because they knew there was a match and because of the visibility the partnership with Align provided.”
“Align appreciates extraordinary organizations like the Boys & Girls Club because of its positive impact on our local youth,” said Align President Ken Del Rossi. “We enjoyed supporting them through #GivingTuesday as well as at many events during the year.”
