1. Andover Police Log, Aug. 11-23 (andovermanews.com) — Andover's latest police log details calls from Aug. 11–23, ranging from OUI arrests and crashes on Main and Chandler roads to suspicious activity, animal issues, and welfare checks across town neighborhoods. Residents can see how officers handled unusual reports like a raccoon in a home, a person lying on River Road lawns, and vehicles left running or parked for days.

MBTA Details $140 Million 'Haverhill Double Track' Construction Project (iheart.com) — Train service to and from Andover is slated for a major boost, with the MBTA planning nearly $140 million in new double track between Reading and Andover plus accessibility upgrades at the Andover and Ballardvale stations. Officials say the project will reduce bottlenecks, improve reliability for commuter rail and Amtrak riders, and increase capacity along the Haverhill Line, though a construction timeline isn't set yet.
3. Somerville organizations awarded funding from MassCEC (thesomervilletimes.com) — An Andover company, Reframe Systems, will receive $800,000 in new state climatetech tax incentives to expand its home-building microfactories that cut waste and speed construction.
