ANDOVER, MA — A portion of Main Street in Andover will be closed for up to 15 hours on Saturday as part of the Andover Day festivities in town.
Andover police said Main Street will close between Elm Square and School Street at 4 a.m. and stay closed until about 6:30 p.m.
Neighborhood residents can access their properties between Punchard Avenue and School Street from the south side of the Square.
The Main Street and Town House parking lots will also close for the event.
Those looking to park for the event can do so at the Park Street Village lot and the Doherty Middle School lot.
Police said the municipal lots at the town offices will also be closed for the farmer's market.
Accessible Parking will be available in the horseshoe in front of the Town Offices.
Some on-street parking will be unavailable as well to be used as vendor spaces. Those spots will be designated with "No Parking" signs starting Friday night.
