Water Main Break Shuts Down Andover Road Near School

ANDOVER, MA — A water main break on High Plain Road shut down the street on Friday and was expected to affect school traffic.

Officials said the break in the area of 320 High Plain Road forced the shutdown in both directions on Friday morning.

"This will affect school traffic," officials said.

A detour was set up at Cross Street heading inbound and Greenwood Road heading outbound.

Those traveling through the area were advised to seek alternate routs and allow extra time.
