Andover Adds Plantings Behind Old Town Hall

ANDOVER, MA — The town posted the following on its Facebook page regarding improvements to parking areas:

"This week, dozens of trees, shrubs, perennials and grasses are being planted behind Old Town Hall, bringing new life to the recently improved Downtown Parking area.

"The plantings are a component of the Town's comprehensive Downtown Parking Improvement project. The project significantly reconfigured the municipal parking lots behind Old Town Hall to better accommodate pedestrian and vehicle flow and improve drainage structures. The project also created a centralized gathering space behind the historic building that can be activated for outdoor dining, live performances, and other community programming. Outdoor furniture was added to the community gathering space last week!"
